Kenyan Slum Kids
We are currently in negotiation with Jane from VCK (Voluntary Counsellors Kenya) to organise penpals with some of the kids who live in the Korogocho slums in Eastern Nairobi in Kenya. We were hoping to email the students but have since discovered that they have very limited resources.
We are currently compiling a recipe book and look forward to selling it in order to raise money for the kids from Korogocho. We may also use some of the profit to buy the goods that VCK make like necklaces and bracelets and sell them on their behalf. We are going to buy them a digital camera so they can take photos for us to share.
In M3 we like to make a difference and this is an important project for us. We can’t wait to meet some new friends in Kenya! Hopefully you will support us by buying our recipe books or donating funds to go towards helping a fantastic cause.
